Studio Policy:Before acceptance into the studio, students may request a 15-minute Q&A session. This is a time for teacher and student to get to know one another and ask any questions that each may have. This interview is free to the student and is beneficial for all parties. There is a one-time Registration Fee per family of $40.
Ongoing Monthly Tuition (BEST VALUE, at least 33 lessons in 12 months) 25 minute lessons - $140 per month, ongoing 50 minute lessons - $280 per month, ongoing Single Lessons 25 minute lesson - $70 50 minute lesson - $140 Elevated Harmonics offers a hassle-free automated payment system. Tuition is charged on the 1st of each month to a credit card kept on file. There is a $30 fee for insufficient funds or late payments. Enrolled students in ongoing lessons receive 33 lessons per calendar year, September to September. This averages out to around 3 lessons per month, though due to built in holidays and vacations, some months may have more lessons and some less. A steady monthly payment spread out over 12 months helps our families budget for private lessons consistently. Withdrawl from Lessons: Once enrolled in coaching or lessons, you will stay enrolled until you tell us you need to withdraw. If you need to pause or cancel your enrollment, please submit written notice by the 24th of the month prior to the month of withdrawal, to avoid further charges. If notice is received after the 24th of the month, the tuition for the next month will still be charged, and the student will be welcome to continue lessons that month. Any lesson cancellations do not release you from your payment obligation. It is your responsibility to keep your account/card information up-to-date in the portal. All payments are non-refundable. Make-Up Lessons: Only lessons canceled with 24 hours advanced notice will be offered a makeup lesson. Makeup lessons are offered once per month on a date which will be made available through the online calendar at the beginning of the month. Students may also claim an empty lesson spot if there is one adjacent to their scheduled lesson if a double lesson works for their family. Lessons must be made up within 3 months, or that make-up credit is forfeited. Lessons canceled within 24 hours will not be made up and no refund will be given. If you must cancel a lesson within 24 hours, please give me as much notice as possible. Supplies: Please come prepared to learn each week with a pencil, blank spiral notebook for assignments, any lesson books and a bottle of water for voice lessons. I will communicate via email when new lesson materials are needed. Materials can be ordered via Amazon or another online seller, or purchased locally through Midwest Music Store in Maryland Heights. Practice: It is important that you spend time equal to your lesson practicing at least 5 days each week. If practicing for the full length of time is too much, consider breaking the time up in to smaller chunks throughout the day. Please check the studio portal for calendar updates and account information. This will be our main mode of communication on these matters. Once registered, I will set you up with portal access. I will also send an email update with lesson notes/assignments each week to any email addresses on file. Please feel free to include email addresses for all caregivers to help with clear communication in the event of one parent traveling, split households, etc. Teaching music is one of the great joys of my life, and I look forward to working with you!
